We realized it might be slow when their valet were backed up when we arrived. However, their margaritas, brisket tacos, and quesadillas were fantastic. We also loved their brisket queso chips. Also had live music that added to our experience. Definitely will come back when in Dallas. ”

“ After spending a beautiful day at the Dallas Arboretum, we stopped in at Smoky Roseconveniently located just across the streetand were so glad we did. While we originally chose it for the location, it turned out to be an outstanding dining experience from start to finish. We kicked things off with the pork belly burnt ends, and they were phenomenalcrispy, caramelized, and meltinyourmouth tender. A perfect way to start the meal. For entrees, we had the pulled pork quesadilla, smoked chicken enchiladas, and brisket street tacos. Every dish delivered rich, smoky flavor and was clearly crafted with care. The pulled pork quesadilla was cheesy and satisfying with a great smoky balance. The enchiladas had a deep, savory flavor and just the right amount of spice. The brisket tacos were packed with juicy, flavorful meat and topped just rightnot overloaded, but still super satisfying. To go along with the food, we tried the frozen Blackberry Bourbon Smash and a sangria. Both cocktails were refreshing and wellcraftedthe bourbon smash was bold and icycool, while the sangria was fruity and easy to sip. Smoky Rose isnt just about convenienceits a true hidden gem with excellent food, great service, and a chill, welcoming vibe. Highly recommend! ”

“ We love this place! It has an amazing atmosphere, great beer, awesome staff, and good food! Theres tons of outdoor seating and tons of trees to keep us cool when its sunny. The brisket tacos are a little dry. The ribs are really delicious! ”

“ Smoky Rose is definitely a must try. The food was incredible. INCREDIBLE. The yard area is so cute, with plenty of tables, shade, and a cute little gazebo where kids can play. The inside, however, feels like the opposite because its so pretty and somewhat fancy. The point of bringing this up is that you can go there in casual clothes and listen to the live music from the patio or dress fancy and sit insideperfect for any occasion. They also have a private space with a bar which was great for a large crowd. Despite how many people were there, the inside wasnt loud. The brisket queso is fantastic. The queso alone is enough to order but add the brisket and it is elevated. I ordered the brisket enchiladas and let me tell you, Ive never in my life had enchiladas or the refried beans like these before. The enchiladas are made with fresh corn tortillas, there was plenty of brisket inside the tortillas, and it was slathered in homemade chili. I went a step further and added the queso on top and ahhh. I get really hesitant about ordering brisket that isnt just sliced because it is really hard to find a place where brisket is moist after its chopped up, but Smoky Roses brisket enchiladas were a huge win. The refried beans were also incredibly fresh. They had a rich cumin flavor and needed nothing on or with them. Make a reservation for this place on Saturdays. ”

“ Friendly service, really yummy BBQ, and a great location. This is our second visit to Smokey Rose, and I have only good things to say. They have a great outdoor seating area when the weather is nice. On this visit, we had deviled eggs, a brisket sandwich with ranchero beans, and smoked turkey with potato salad. “ Smoky Rose BBQ is the kind of place we wish wed found sooner. Its got a relaxed, familyfriendly atmosphere that works well for kids, and the food is consistently good. The queso with brisket was a highlighttasty and satisfying. The craft root beer was a nice touch, too. We enjoyed the brisket tacos, which were flavorful and wellmade, and the kids menu had solid options that kept them happy. Its a great spot in Dallas, and well definitely be back. ”

“ We visited Smoky Rose on a Sunday afternoon around 4 PM, and the location itself is absolutely beautiful. The outdoor seating and overall atmosphere were amazingperfect for a laidback afternoon. We ordered the BBQ floating ribs with fries and asparagus, the brisketloaded potato, and the shrimp tacos. Portion sizes were decent, but the ribs were a bit underseasoned and had very little meat on them, which was a bit disappointing. The brisketloaded potato felt underwhelming, especially at 16it just didnt have much brisket on it to justify the price. The standout of the meal was definitely the shrimp tacos. The flavors were fresh and vibrant, loaded with shrimp, and beautifully presented. They come with rice and beans on the side, but honestly, the sides were a bit bland and didnt add much to the dish. My only suggestion would be to serve the tacos on slightly larger or double tortillas, as eating them got a little messy with all the toppings spilling out. We also tried a mezcal old fashioned and a muleboth were solid choices. Overall, it was a good experience, despite them being a bit understaffed, which made ordering food and drinks take longer than expected. Id definitely come back, especially for the atmosphere and those shrimp tacos. ”

“ Ive been coming to Smokey Rose for quite some time. Lets just say, the experience from start to finish is always a 1010. From the complimentary valet, to the service, to the taste of the food. Lisa was great and attentive although she suffered from a knee injury. She checked on us often and gave great recommendations. She even continued to check on us AFTER we paid the bill. Ill always ask for her now! Also, we loved the brisket quesadillas and brisketqueso nachos. The margaritas were great too. Even the beans on the side were great to me. ”
